Wadi Tiwi & Wadi Shab by Sienna

Friday 9^th of June

We left home at 3:30am and headed for the Hatta border crossing into Oman at around 5:30am. We were heading for the Muscat Express Way to pick up our friend, Gabby, and then we went to Wadi Tiwi. We previously went to Wadi Shab (blog written by Meila) and Wadi Tiwi is right next it. Tiwi was so fun, challenging, but fun. It demanded a lot of work. We left three cars at the end point and brought five cars to the exit. It took us about 6½ hours to finish, it wasn’t easy. We started at 12pm and finished at 6:30pm. We were hesitant on our camping spot, so we got there at around 8:45pm and quickly set up camp and then had fun!

Saturday 10^th of June

We got early the next day and prepared for a great day ahead of us. Once we had breakfast, we started packing up in the heat. Dad, Meila, and I went for a dip in the refreshing cold sea water. We came out rinsed off, dad gave his brief with mum, while Meila and I were chit-chatting in the car. We left at 9am and were off in the direction of Wadi Shab, which was 5 minutes down the road. When we got there, we got ready, and we were off. It wasn’t as challenging as Tiwi but still lots of fun. We were out by 4pm and we all were off in our own directions back to Dubai. We had so much fun!!
